  裂缝是导致混凝土结构性能退化的重要原因,高效控制裂缝是保障混凝土结构安全和耐久的关键。随着先进传感技术和仿生材料的发展,混凝土裂缝的智能感知与修复受到更多关注,为提升混凝土裂缝控制的精度、效率和主动性提供新的思路。本专题围绕混凝土裂缝智能感知与修复的最新研究理论与应用技术,潜在主题包括但不限于:

  Concrete structural failures generally initiate with cracks. Effective control of cracks is the key to ensure the safety and durability of concrete structures. With the development of advanced sensing technology and bionic materials, more attention has been paid to the smart detection and healing for concrete cracks, which provides a new idea to improve the accuracy, efficiency and initiative of concrete crack control. This special issue focuses on the latest research theory and technology of smart detection and healing for concrete cracks.

  Potential topics include but are not limited to: 

  ·Smart sensors and crack detection algorithms for concrete structures

  ·Vision-based technologies for concrete crack detection and quantification

  ·Microcapsule-based self-healing for concrete cracks

  ·Microorganism-based self-healing for concrete cracks

  ·Electrochemistry-based self-healing for concrete cracks

  ·Mineral-based self-healing for concrete cracks

  ·Repairing technologies for concrete after exposure to extreme conditions

  All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers. In order to shorten the publishing period, articles from this Special Issue will appear in a regular issue of the journal as soon as they are accepted, though they will be clearly marked and branded as Special Issue articles.
